/01 What
The Beethoven Sprint is a gathering of Plone developers in Bonn, Germany from May 15th to 19th 2023.
We will focus on the developement of Plone 6.1 and Plone 7 focussing on Volto. Volto is the new ReactJS-based default frontend for Plone 6 content management system. We plan to mostly work on:
The Beethoven sprint has been declared as a strategic sprint by the the Plone Volto Team, the Plone Framework Team, and has been approved by the Plone board of directors. The sprint covers topics that are considered vital for the future of the Plone CMS.
/02 Where
The sprint will be held at the kitconcept GmbH Bonn office, where we will have everything that is needed for a productive and successful sprint. There are three rooms, we will have a fast internet connection, snacks, drinks, a beautiful garden, and a coffee machine.

There are several Hotels available close to the kitconcept office. You can find a list of the most popular ones in out planning doc.
From Frankfurt (FRA) airport: Take the train (IC/ICE) to Bonn Hbf, either directly (IC) or via Bonn/Siegburg (ICE) to Bonn/Siegburg, then switch to tram line "66" to "Bonn Hbf".
From Cologne (CGN) airport: Take the bus "SB60" to "Bonn Hauptbahnhof".
From Düsseldorf (DUS) airport: Take the train to Bonn, via Cologne (RB, IC, or ICE).
From Bonn Hauptbahnhof (railway station) you can walk to the kitconcept office within 10 minutes or take a bus to Nassestr./Arithmeum.
