/01 What

The Beethoven Sprint is a gathering of Plone and React developers from June 20th to 24th at the kitconcept office in Bonn, Germany.

We will focus on the developement of Plone 6 and Volto. Volto is a new ReactJS-based frontend for the Plone content management system and it will become the default frontend in Plone 6. We plan to work on:

The Beethoven sprint has been declared as a strategic sprint by the Plone Framework Team and approved by the Plone board of directors, because the sprint covers topics that are considered vital for the future of the Plone CMS.

/02 Where

The sprint will be held at the kitconcept GmbH Bonn office, where we will have everything that is needed for a productive and successful sprint. There are three rooms, we will have a fast internet connection, snacks, drinks, a beautiful garden, and a coffee machine.

Accommodation

Sprinters will stay at the Hotel Eden right next to the kitconcept office, or at the newly build Motel One Beethoven in the city centre.

Getting there

From Frankfurt (FRA) airport: Take the train (IC/ICE) to Bonn Hbf, either directly (IC) or via Bonn/Siegburg (ICE to Bonn/Siegburg, then switch to tram line "66" to "Bonn Hbf".

From Cologne (CGN) airport: Take the bus "SB60" to "Bonn Hauptbahnhof".

From Düsseldorf (DUS) airport: Take the train to Bonn, via Cologne (RB, IC, or ICE).

From Bonn Hauptbahnhof (railway station) you can walk to the kitconcept office within 10 minutes or take a bus to Nassestr./Arithmeum.
